Improbable

The truth of the matter is, you and I, getting together in the way that I want… is pretty improbable. There's… too much in between, all of it messy, any of it possibly creating some new rift, some new obstacle.

But then, this week… Another incredibly improbable event occurred. Something that a week ago I would have told you that I hoped would happen, but I really didn't think so.

And it happened in no small part because of the things I've been doing to try to move the needle a bit for you, towards you, even though it was not anything that had anything to do with you.

So now I wonder… If that could happen… why not this?

Unlike the other thing, I am nowhere near to giving up on the idea of us. Honestly, I'm not sure I'm physically capable of letting go of that particular idea anyways, but still.

I'm not a great believer in fate or karma or whatever, but this… is just so damned amazing that I can't help but feel the universe led me to it. Is it leading me to you, too?

So… Improbable… Maybe. But impossible? Never.

It will happen, my love. Just you wait.
